For p2p file sharing, I use dcgui, the version I compiled from source
from http://dc.ketelhot.de/ is a lot nicer to use than the version
currently in debian. 

Apparently internet explorer and outlook express are able to be run
under Wine, if you're just after a web browser that will let you access
hotmail.com then mozilla works fine, and 'amsn' (MSN Messenger for
Linux) will even check your hotmail inbox much like the original msn
does. Not sure about a mail client that will download via hotmails http
protocol though.
