I'm still in the process of setting things up. I've just managed to swap my old bnc network card with an rj45 card.
Reading through the dhcpd man page, I note
that the dhcpd daemon has built-in bootp support.
The example it gives is:
host haagen {
hardware ethernet 08:00:2b:4c:59:23;
fixed-address 239.252.197.9;
filename "/tftpboot/haagen.boot";
}
in the dhcpd.conf file.
Does anyone on list have experience with this?
I'm gonna try it as soon as have some spare time.
