There is a student chapter of the ACM at Canterbury...it went slightly defunct last year, but we should be able to revive it reasonably easily (I was president a few years ago). It has a bank account with a bit of funding in it already (from accenture to promote COSC and the club). http://www.cosc.canterbury.ac.nz/ACMchapter It tried to run an installfest in 2001, but not many people showed (everyone forgot to tell anyone:). I think the current president is Tim Wang, but he's left. That makes Michael JasonSmith the acting president. Any ideas mike?
