I can guess how that happened.
Someone with linux-users in their address book got infected.
When the virus sends itself, it uses one of the addresses in the address book
as the "from:" address.

I know this is so because a group of people I know all got a (windoze) virus
that they swear came from me, even though I don't use windows. Grrr!

I think some of them still hold it against me, and I can't convince them otherwise
(too technical to explain, the more tech savvy ones believe me though).
