There are only TWO people registered for this Thursday (13th February) workshop. Either:
1. Linux is getting better; or 2. The list and other resources are solving peoples problems without need of a hands on workshop; or 3. People are too shy! Please, if you have a problem, bring it along! But email me first. This is a good opportunity for newbies to simply sit down with a more experienced person and be "shown the ropes". If you can't figure out how to get your email, change your password, browse your windows machine, find your log files, whatever! The Problems to date are: 1. Chris Sawtell, upgrade to kde3.1 on gentoo blitzed 2. Dave :"I've got the slow speed modem prob & after a reinstall wnat to get loadlin going (got an idea of howto do it want someone to look over my shoulder" Do I take it everyone else has their box going perfectly? Here is a repeat of my earlier post: > The next CLUG meeting is a workshop on this THURSDAY 13 FEBRUARY 2003. > > If you are having a problem with installation of operation of linux or > other open source software please email me (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]) and > I will collate a list of problems. > > This opportunity is limited to 8 problems and an unlimited number of > fixers :-) We have previously found 8 to be a good number.
