How about using something like java-ssh on a web page on your home PC?

http://www.javassh.org/ or
http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~fapp2/software/java-ssh/

These give you a web page with a java applet that is the ssh client.

I haven't used either of these before, I just saw it and thought it would be
cool.
