I have an Acer 3000U scanner and I want to install it under Red Hat 8. The Acer support is pretty poor all round I think. Knowing nothing about scanners under Red Hat I would appreciate all info I can get pertaining to scanner programmes and image editors. Am I going to be able to get the Acer running?
Don't know where to start really.
