All the Gentooists use it all the time to keep the list of packages up to date. It comes from the Samba stable, so it works very well indeed, but needs a huge amount of free disc space to use as a work area. xdelta is a not so convenient alternative. http://sourceforge.net/projects/xdelta [ ... ] -- C.
