All fo the psutils are very sensitive to the exact content of the
postscript file(s). Sometimes you just luck out.
I suggest you contact eagle, afterall they're offering offical(!)
support for their free software. I had the feeling they were very
responsive, maybe they have another idea. You realise they run a news
server with about a dozen newsgroups?
In any case, I believe latex would do the job. You want the graphicx
package and to use \includegraphics{name.ps}. If you do this often,
script it.
