Well if they have a "Learn to speak German in 21 days" you can combine that with "C in 21 tagen" and get an effective "Learn C in 42 days" book!
I'm already competent in C, and I even know how to use the grafisches Entwicklungswerkzeug descibed in the "C in 21 tagen" book, although at 960 pages (45 pages per day!) there's bound to be stuff in there I could
learn.
"Linux-Netzwerkadministration" looks more interesting to me.
