You just put the machines' names/ip-addresses in decending order of speed in 
the configuration environment variable and it's definitely the more the 
merrier! So David's ones come at the end of the queue.

I have a Sparkey friend who has offered to look it over if we are in any 
doubt.

I can borrow one of the official tools which is used to put the plugs on the 
ends of the cables.
