Last night Nick, Chris and myself went in to the OSTC to start preparations
for the upcoming Gentoo Installfest.

We installed a minimal Gentoo environment on one of the PC's and installed
distcc and ccache on it.

Next we took an image of the hard drive and installed it on another PC. We
did some quick testing and distcc seems to work well.

We still need to do some more research on ccache, and Nick is working on a
making a GentooLive CD with the same version of gcc that we are using on the
other boxes. This will be used on the other PC's that people are kindly
lending to help out with the compiling cluster.

So far everything is looking pretty good. Thanks to Nick and Chris for all
their hard work.
