If you have Linux running on a box with an ISO file, then from a cli, run md5sum /path/to/file/filename. Once the md5sum comes up, compare it to the one mandrake gives you. If dey donna match den you gotta problemo!!

Thanks for your advice... I dloaded the md5sum from ftp.debian.co.nz that was with the MDK9.1 files. I googled for what the heck to do with it, and ran "md5summer" over it. It reported 1 error, and said the CRC checksum didn't match.

Sorry for the dumb question now coming... What does this mean?  I have
d/loaded mdk twice, not really amping to do so again.  Am I up excrement
creek?
