Oh, sorry - I did misunderstand :) I highly doubt that a subminor version bump would cause object files to have link errors, in fact all the 3.2.xx series _should_ produce object files that correctly link to each other (ie 3.2.1 & 3.2.3). However - according to Murphies Law - there will be problems with that subminor bump. And therefore best to use your "compile-farm" iso rather than Knoppix. Also, if worst comes to worst we can manually modprobe the nic modules.
