Thanks for those who helped get me up and running with my USB mouse. In the process I learnt a lot about menuconfig and modular kernels!
Had a moments panic this morning when my system refused to run X at all, but putting a few lines like: usbmouse hid input into /etc/modules.autoload to load them up did the trick (X/KDE fails to run at all if it can't find a mouse) - steve (Next steps ALSA sound, Lucent winmodem and proper power management...) ========================================================= http://www.commarc.co.nz (This e-mail has been scanned by MailMarshal)
