Just so ppl. have the rigfht ideas about what will be available for install at 
the Gentoo installfest. We can provide anything from this directory:-

It contains someting like 11,700 ffiles represtenting various versions of 
packages so there aren't that number of actual packages. Approx 5 to 6 
thousand would be a good guess.

A large fraction of the more popular ones will be mirrored locally on a server 
at the OSTC.

In order that we don't blow out the OSTC's traffic rattion too much we would 
like to ensure that any large package ( where large means much bigger than 
10Megs such as the Mozilla or OpenOffice sources ) is downloaded previously 
on a different account, and then added to the local mirror.
