Dunno, it just does.
Once I set it up the first time, entering my isp's dial-up number, clear.net
login name and clear.net password - it just logs in everytime.

When I set up a new user, and they run kppp for the first time, the clear.net
settings are already there and they just click on connect.

I would have a clue how mdk solved it - I'm just happy that it works.

I could never get kppp working under suse 7.0, so I used wvdial instead with
no prob.
