Found the problem.

Looks like it did not like the Xircom RealPort Ethernet 10 card.

Luckily I had a different card and it works fine.

Subject: Mandrake NIC starting

I have just installed Mandrake 9.1 onto an lBM ThinkPad 390

I can get the Xircom NIC started by using "DrakConnect" and the wizard. I
set the option for it to start at boot but it does not do so.

How can I make sure the NIC starts at boot?

Robert
