You have no idea how much my head spun when I managed to understand the
parallel sort mentioned in the unplugged sessions, I first saw it when I
was about 13 or so and caught some of Tim Bell's talk at a programming
conference.

Kids and adults alike can have a lot of fun figuring out the UoC COSC
garden, theres information at http://bridges.canterbury.ac.nz but it
appears that that website is only available on campus now ;(
