Hi-ho,
I've got a Dynalink RTA220 router, and use it with it's NAT &
firewalling, into a second NIC on my server. The server also runs
IPTables, snort and some accounting scripts written in python by
myself..
Apart from some odd problems with ssh sessions timing out which were
fixed with a firmware update, it's all good...
Not IPCop, but similar in layout to using two NIC's with one of the
dedicated firewall distros. What problems are you having? For the
average surfing/emailing user it should work fine out of the box...
Cheers, me.
