That would be k3b? If you can't find k3b in the "K" menu tree (KDE version of the "Start" menu, bottom left), Press [Alt]+[F2] and enter k3b in the box that pops up. If k3b is not installed then install it from your distro CD. The first time you rin k3b, you'll need to set it up (in the tools or config menu, I think). You'll need the root password to set it up. It will automagically configure the ide-scsi stuff. Your CD-ROM may move from /dev/hdb to /dev/scd0 after the set-up is done. I think k3b-setup automatically updates the /dev/cdrom link to /dev/cdrom -> /dev/scd0, but I'm not certain that it does. In your gnome or kde menu tree there should be a menu that takes you to a "how-to" index. Read the CD writing "how-to" doc. Yuri
