Stuck.. need help

So far, I have been going reasonably well with getting debian going as I want. However after installing mysql-server ok, and doing local testing… I can not connect over the network. I can the machine fine etc. So, what do I need to do to be able to connect to the mysql server? The machines in question are on the same network.   Regards Adam
