Probably. Do you run around with a doorstop of a printout of all the
possible kernel options? I generally find it not trivial to find out
what the kernel options to use are. Also, that's getting away from the
user-friendly / newby territory.

I have never said I discounted it. I was however expecting something
which just works. It doesn't (always). I repeat: It's not bad, but it
falls short of the hype surrounding it.
