Contrariwise.
All ISP's work incredibly hard at enwryption. Enwryption is a dark art
that combines the worst of chaffing and winnowing, stenography and
marketing.
Enwryption encrypts data by smearing it around a many different web pages
and across several web sites. Furthermore the data is deeply buried in
banner ads, glossy site markup, javascript, flash and marketing hype.
To gain a deep insight into enwryption try the following simple
exercise.
1) Have someone chain you to a bench that is bolted to the floor and is
in front of ruggedized kiosk style web connection.
2) There should be nothing movable other than a piece of paper and a
soft crayon in reach.
This is important. Anything more than that and you will cause severe
injury to yourself and anyone within a hundred meters.
3) Now using the the web browser and nothing else, complete the
following table for Broadband providers in New Zealand.
ISP,Product Name,Upload rate,Down load rate,Installation
charge,Monthly Charge,Data cap, over cap charge.
Just the simple basic fact's which anyone needs to make a rational
purchasing decision. So those charges are the ISP charges plus the
telco charges combined.
Children, do not attempt this at home. It will leave you scarred for life.
Adults, make sure no children are present when you attempt this. It will
leave them scarred for life.
Spouses, once your dear one has been left a slavering maniac by this
exercise, please let him loose in the marketing departments of ISP's
across the land. It will leave them scarred for life.
Advanced exercise for the masochistic:
Repeat the above and factor in telephone calling rates to two
international destinations and assuming you already have some form of
connection.
