hi, i was wondering if anybody could help me with a simple problem. when i use the bash shell command-line to execute commands i must type "./" before the command
eg ./program.exe i know that this is done to specify that the command is to be executed in the current directory, but at the UOC computer labs this is not needed. eg i would only need to type: program.exe i think i probably need to modify my .bashrc file but i'm not sure how. i would really appreciate it if someone could give me some advice (please be specific :) ) cheers, sam
