Subject: VNC for remote support...

Hi-ho,

Help-Desk question for the week..

Is there a way I can use the vncviewer/Xvnc/vncserver to view and
interact with a remote clients desktop while they are using it?

ie: user calls in with problem, and I can view their screen to diagnose
it? Similar to the functionality of vnc / tightvnc running under
windows.

I've googled a bit on this one, and mucked around with the options for
Xvnc and vncserver and it doesn't appear to be able to do the job. That
might be the case, but if not I've missed the obvious. :-).

On the other hand, anyone know of a bit of software that can do this?

Cheers, Chris H.
