I get the same message on Trillian but not using the security fixed version hasn't stopped it connecting to MSN. GAIM is also still running iirc, maybe the is an Alvaros MSN clone problem?
I just found that AMSN still works despite the email from M$. Perhaps there is an amnesty period to give users the chance to update, but it still works fine...
I hope the authors of AMSN are able to 'fix' the current version to trick MSN servers into allowing connections, because its a useful tool to catch-up with all my friends who have deserted NZ...
