Good question. Why is everyone using RH when you have a better distro
like SuSE.
RH is starting to smell like MS. The same technique/template as MS re:
Marketing, Certification etc. not to mention the costs. The
Certification costs are as bad as MCSE.
Besides, SuSE is the oldest, most stable distro in town. So what if
they're German.
However, to answer the question - I know when you go to the tech pages
on their site the odd 'und' creeps in which tends to put the English
speaking fraternity off a bit. Within the community, it is widely
known for having the best "Network friendly" distro.
RH is OK. But SuSE is streets ahead.
Anyone installed their Mail Server yet?

SuSE has a fantastic reputation and a good codebase. see my response
to
Chris H's email for the reasons I have myslef in ttrouble with RH.

Why hasn't suse caught on more in NZ. Is it the "foreigner" thing? Is
it
the fact that many people believe it is illegal to copy their cd's
because of the licensing of Yast?

I have like Suse every time I used it, but i cannot answer the
nebulous
question of why I never stuck with it.
