You need a better kernel. Red Hat ones can't read NTFS.

If you're not up to swapping kernels, boot a copy of Knoppix. That can
read NTFS and write EXT3. There is apparently one version that can write
NTFS too.

I believe there are now also EXT partition browsers for Windows.

This PC runs Linux. If you find a virus apparently from me, it has
forged the e-mail headers on someone else's machine. Please do not
