I suppose all you hardened *nix users/gurus will not be impressed but I was.
I built a newer PC for our border to use and loaded Mandrake 9.1. I then used scp to copy his complete home folder from the old to the new pc and "voila" - everything was set up as he had it on all of the programmes he used and his desktop. -- Robert Fisher www.fisherfamily.orcon.net.nz
