Oh yeah, right here. The probem is that we're faced with a fairly large country in which the original purpose of government has been lost. It no longer represents the views of the people or protects them from the machinations of commerce. It manipulates the people and has let the dollar superceed the vote as a means of controlling the establishment. It don't take two brain cells to figure out that anything originating from the companies in that environment is going to be very heavily biased towards the benefit of the manufacturer, not to the user. Any law that tries to offer benefits to the consumer will either be blocked by vested interests, have riders that significantly restrict the user so as to render the benefit moot, or be filled so full of loopholes it is worthless. No wonder Open Source software is becoming the preferred option among those who can think for themselves. Vik :v) -- This PC runs Linux. If you find a virus apparently from me, it has forged the e-mail headers on someone else's machine. Please do not notify me when this occurs. Thanks.
