MessageNot being that grub literate ... I would assume that in the LILO or
Grub file in the boot partition there is a series of lines describing the
possible boot options for any system. These lines should be able to be
changed or added to so that you can boot off /dev/hdb7 or /dev/hda7, else
/hdb7/..  or any other partition or disk combo you want to as long as there
is an image for it to use for the boot process.

is /dev/hdb7  (I have partioned a 120 GB hardisk into four seperate drives)
To access Linux at the moment, I have to go into BIOS settings to boot off a
floppy.  I want to use GRUB so I can access through Windows XP Pro.  All the
material I have been researching mentions using Linux on the same drive as
your Windows disk and not a seperate hard disk.
