of course ms's patching is not the easiest to work with, and it helps if you start with a decent system to begin with, but unpatched ms users shouldn't complain!
I actually think that MS patch updates are quite easy now. Either manually select "Windows Update" or set Windows update to check for patches automatically. The hardest thing I find here at work is making sure our very mobile (but not always connected) work PC's get updated. My 2c Rob
