Unfortunately it is just a USB Pendrive, so must have the same chipset as for-mentioned cool watch ... > as other people have said it should work automagically if hotplug is set > up right by the distro. sorry, thats not a lot of help... Not a problem, hotplug sees the device and correctly ID's it, I can tell from the droppings in /var/log/messages. What I am after is a way to manipulate hotplug to mount the drive on insert, unmounting is a different kettle of fish but mounting is a start... Mark
