Thanks for the tip ... will look into it.

Only problem for me is if you can use Maxnet if you are on Telstra Saturn

Another option might be an ISP based Filtering System. Maxnet
http://www.maxnet.co.nz
offers a system called netguardian to their users. It uses a combination of
various systems to block various types of crud. It works with both their
dialup and ADSL connections. It costs abit extra per month but works fairly
well if some what aggressively. Though they quickly unblock any sites that
get caught by the system accidentally and it is upto date. It blocks A
variety of stuff including Porn, Criminal (Hacking, Bomb making, Warez
etc ),
R18, Open Proxy's, Freehosts and other stuff. They've a profile system which
allows you to disable the blocking of certain Categories.

It works fairly well But does block some sites that it shouldn't usually
virtually hosted ones. However when a sites blocked the blocking screen
offers a review option which allows you to send off an email to maxnet if
you
think the site shouldn't be blocked and they'll Check it out and unblock it
usually within a day or 2 (2's the longest wait I've ever had) if it is
incorrectly blocked.

They don't scan emails but often Porngraphic spam will fail to load properly
as they'll have block the sites the email gets it images from.
