also worth thinking about - if you need a new printer (probably you
don't) a number of the hp models now have a variety of card readers,
mine works well and i hardly ever plug the camera into the pc any more,
just take the cf card out and plug it into the printer, where it
appears as a scsi drive with a msdos filesystem.
