I wonder whether any of my fellow CLUGgers is a maths instructor who would be willing to help out a student - me - who's in a wee bit of a bind.
I'm working on a BSc Maths-Statistics through the University of London by distance learning. I register, obtain the course study guides and textbooks, study on my own and sit the exams (May, at Canterbury). The course textbook for Analysis is Bartle & Sherbert, "Introduction to Real Analysis". The London study guide for Analysis is particularly sketchy and offers only a few exercises and no answers. Bartle & Sherbert also does not give answers to most of its exercises. Wiley, the publisher of Bartle & Sherbert, offer a separate Instructor's Manual (with answers and analysis) - only to instructors. (I asked - they refused.) Is any of you at Canterbury (or elsewhere) a maths instructor and would you be willing to obtain this Instructor's Manual for me? I'm happy to cover all your costs. Please e-mail me directly if this is not appropriate for the list. =====Andrew Packer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
