I like Anjuta, it has nice code folding, works with existing Makefile
projects and is lightweight.  Has support for GUI editing with GTK.
Kdevelop is also a nice IDE, a little heavier, generates nasty
autoconf/automake files, and lots of little helper files.  Getting
better all the time.
QtDesigner is an excellent GUI designer.
