This is by no means a scientific report on the growth of Linux but
according to my own web sites stats, Linux usage IS increasing. We had a
unique visitor count of over 7600 in the month of December 03. That is
up from a UV count of about 5500 in Nov. Now, we also have noted a
monthly rise in the percentage of Linux users in our stats. It started
at around 2% and has now risen to outstrip our Mac visitors. It is now
up to about 2.9% and Mac has about 2.4%.
For January 04 so far (2435 UV thus far) Linux is at a whopping 4.1% of
our visitors, impressive growth in a month. Mac is at to 2.9%. At this
pace, we are looking at around 10% by the end of the year and that IS
exciting.
Hope everyone else with a site is seeing the same trends....
