Yep. If your dial-in/cable/adsl provider assigns you the ip address 123.1.2.3 
for the session, then you will have a hostname like:
123-1-2-3.dialup.isp.co.nz
or
123-1-2-3.cable.paradise.net.nz

for example, right now, a reverse look-up on the IP I'm posting from would 
resolve to 218-101-92-110.dialup.clear.net.nz, although this will be 
different next time I dial in.

AFAIK all major ISPs do this. YMMV
