Probably far too late... I can't for the life of me work out how to do (access) local mail! I.e, how do I send myself a message at [EMAIL PROTECTED] (billy.local being the name of my machine)? I think I once knew how to do this but no more ;-(. I was trying to learn about cron, and that sends mail to the user - me, at my local mail address. I can't work it out... google just got me confused - I know it is just a simple thing, and all I get is how to set up a local mail server for a lan.

ps I just have the standard mdk install for mail, procmail is what is used.
