The problem is now fixed - sort of.
I went to send you one of the emails in question and decided to use
'reply' and just change the 'to' address to yours. Suddenly, then I
pressed 'reply', the text was shown clearly in Russian and gave no
indication of the other things - lines and boxes etc.
I have no idea about what is causing the problem and so,if I send you a
copy using reply, you will receive correct text (if you are Russian).
I will just let it lie for now and see if it works the next time we get
a gibberish email.
