Eliot,

Thanks for taking the time to post this info...

If you have access to the library's borrower database you might like to look
up my account (Donald J Gould).

You will find that I've been borrowing book after book after book (perhaps
you could exspounge my $6 fine for late fees - opps, xmas and we forgot to
take some back before we went away. ;)

BOOK REPORT by Donald J Gould

The topic of my book report this week is "Linux Books at the Christchurch
Libaray".

I am happy to report that the library has lots of book on Linux and tools.

I am not quite so happy to report that most of them are now very out of
date.

Some are missing the CDs (hummm why the orginals weren't copied and back ups
made I don't know).

There are also very few application books. There is an endless supply of
books on MS applications but very little in the way of Linux application
books.

============================

While I'm on the subject of the library...

Why isn't there a wifi hot spot running in there? (or is there and I just
don't know about it?)

I normally take my laptop with me when I go to the lib... if there was wifi
in there I'd camp all day... errr.... perhaps that's why they don't do it?

Cheers Don
