Still not quite got eth0 started after pcmcia (that's a known Debian thing). Sound works in native mode, but KDE (with its aRTs thing) doesn't recognise it. mpg123 and XMMS are okay. I lost a couple of font settings when I reconfigured X to use neomagic (laptop) driver, but that's back again. I think I am slowly getting used to just *using* it and not really worrying about what it's doing. Now to migrate the mini-ITX into a dedicated server... Andy
