To reignite an old discussion, there is simply no place on a firewall for samba, mailservers, php forums etc. mc is welcome for those that like to investigate the inner workings (its my favourite file manager).
as for enabling an edonkey server, (p2p), that also seems mad on a firewall. The less services the better.
