But actually I want the people who look at my site to be made aware of other products. They will mostly be people I care about, and I like all the people I know to have options. Most think that M$ is the only software in the world. That is not their fault... it is ours (?). So I thought that this might be a way to at least get people thinking - what the hell? Are there more secure options to M$?

ps I am fully aware that this may give people the wrong impression, i.e., that I am afraid for the security of my site because of their IE. Well, why should I dispel that illusion if it has a positive effect? I had a friend of my mum's last night telling me that she was afraid not to use Microsoft because of the "protections they give you". "Have you read the license agreement?" I asked. I guess you know the answer to that! So M$ don't dispel any illusions, why should I?
