Well, I don't know Python, so I can't comment on that. I have written in C for many years (not Linux apps, though), and I must say, I *like* Perl. Maybe because the stuff that I do with it, happens to be tasks that Perl was invented to do. Mostly ;-)

Having said that, I agree with you, Michael: C is the ultimate language.
