Hey, I still use CoBOL! It may be a little verbose, but given my
profession, that ain't a problem, and its dead easy to understand because
it is fully self documenting.

And before the knockers get at me, check the latest standards, which make
it fully oo compliant and even provide for bitwise operations. Most of this
is already supported by modern compilers, though I don't need it for what I
do.
