I find some of the rationales for using Wine full stop suspect. If I want to run Windows apps, I'll buy a Windows computer.
I consider it a lesser evil. Most noteworthy for me is MYOB. As there doesn't appear to be anything else out there for Linux that is as full featured and easy to use (come on, prove me wrong) it can be useful to stay in Linux but be able to run MYOB at need.
