Price is influenced to a considerable extent by power and lens. If 
projecting up to about 5 metres, and the room can be darkened a little 
or light stopped from shining on the screen, then 1200 lumens or so is a 
good starting point. Mitsubishi range starts from about $3500 but there 
are lots of brands. The power rating you need depends on distance and 
ambient light levels, lens depends on distance. So if you can project 
from reasonably close up, say a few metres, then lower power levels are 
OK and cheapers.
